As Chief Procurement Officer and Head of Global Supplier Services for JPMorgan Chase & Co, Jim’s team is responsible for sourcing, procurement, third-party oversight (TPO), payment operations, and supplier control assessment for a US$23bn supplier-spend portfolio distributed across 48,000 engagements with 7,000 suppliers.

Along with Thoropass Co-Founder Eva Pittas, they will explore the dynamics of managing such a massive portfolio and its impacts on both the vendors who sell directly to JPMorgan Chase and their third parties. Jim will also share insights on how they are evaluating AI risk within their portfolio and what is currently on his team’s roadmap for AI processes and tooling.
