With a Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems and certifications in CISA, CISSP, and CCSFP, Jason has a strong foundation in the technical aspects of information security.
Jason has designed, assessed, and managed information security programs for a wide range of specialized business associates in the healthcare market, including population health, medical record systems, telehealth, and cloud services, as well as Fortune 500 companies and large health systems across America
In addition to his technical expertise, Jason is an active leader in the healthcare security community. In 2022, Jason served as a councilperson on the HITRUST Third Party Assurance Council, and in 2021, he participated as a panelist in a discussion on ethics and independence in cyber assurance. Jason has also contributed as an author, publishing a blog post on controlling cyber risk for teleworkers in 2020 and contributing to the HITRUST Assessor Handbook and Audit Guidance in 2023.
